The laboratory is equipped with computerised quality testing and recording equipment so that every sample is traceable and can be reproduced exactly. Specifications are logged on to the database to ensure consistency during production.

High specification Kuhne Extruder and a Battenfield Gloucester are key elements of the blown film extrusion line.

The three-layer co-extruded web is a blend of highly viscous polyethylene with a proprietary mix of fillers, which give the film its paper-like properties.

Paperfeel is available in 30-250 micron thicknesses as lay-flat tube up to two-metre widths or four-metre single-ply.

Printing and converting can also be completed by Paperfeel. The Schiavi flexo-print press features a microdot plate mounting with a unique driven turner bar to enable high quality 8 colour decoration on both sides of the LFT film, or single side SWS film.

The converter offers a variety of sack and bag styles.

Paperfeel is ISO9002 accredited and is working towards BRC/JOP approval.
